Hello,

I've seen a strange thing on my french clients, I hope somebody could help me or at least explain the reasons why it appends...

Here is the case :

I set up a brand new SBS standard in french, fine.
I do the same with some new PC, some of them with XP Pro french, some other with Vista Business french.
On the PC, I could first install Office in french (2003 or 2007) or first put the PC on the network (with the standard installation of Outlook in french) and then Office, the result is always the same:
New mails are posted on the "Inbox", not in "Boîte de réception" witch is the french name for Inbox, as well as sent items are posted in "Sent Items" and not in "Eléments envoyés", and so on...

Most of my customers are aware of this and ask me to resolve the issue.
Could someone help me?

Thanks

Hi Christian,

Is it possible that the first access to the mailboxes was done with an English OWA or Outlook? Have you tried the /resetfoldernames option when starting Outlook?

Hi Marina,

Thanks for helping me :-)
No, the first access was done from a french PC with Windows french and Office french.
Following your suggestion, I've tried the /resetfoldernames option, no joy I still have an Inbox and not a "Boîte de réception"
But maybe the folder must be empty before trying the option ?
