I have a client with one user who wants email sent to his mobile.

I have created a contact in AD using the an external email address and selected forward mail to this contact in the users Exchange settings.

He mail is being sent to the mobile no problem.

In the default smtp sttings I have the set the Office Admin to recieve NDR's everytime a message is forwarded to the external contact a NDR is sent to the Office Admin mail is still being recieved by the external contact.

Do I need to add the external email account to the default recipent policy?

Could someone advise.

Regards

Philip

Hi Philip,

To be honest, I find your question hard to understand.
"In the default smtp sttings I have the set the Office Admin to recieve NDR's everytime a message is forwarded to the external contact a NDR is sent to the Office Admin mail is still being recieved by the external contact."
Can you elaborate please?
