Hi - I have SBS server 2003 running with Exchange, and everything is working great - I need to get a virtual pop3 server up and running so i can get everyones phones configured to receive mail - does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do this, including any firewall changes? Thanks!

are you sure you want to do this via pop3 - surley this will empty the users mailbox onto the phone?

What phones are they, dont they do active sync, or IMAP at least?

I thought there was a way to create a virtual pop3 server, and a setting that will allow us to keep a copy of the mail on the server?
2 of the phones are iphones (which have IMAP) Also, just to fill you in, we are currently not able to access Exchange outside of the network, only thru VPN. No certificate in place -

There is a setting to allow a copy of the messages to be left on the server but this has to be an option on the client side rather than the server. As in outlook you select the option to leave a copy of the messages on the server.

Also, IMAP does not require a certificate.

Hi - do you happen to know where I can get specific instructions on how to do this, both FW settings and configuring the virtual pop3 server?
