Hi, I am trying to set up Outloook 07 over HTTP for remote users on SBS 03 box and am having difficulty. I've got OWA working fine BTW.

Settings are as follows on client;
Microsoft Exchange Settings: domain.local
Use cached exchange mode
connect to Microsoft Exchnage using HTTP
Proxy server for exchange: https://externalfixedip
connect using ssl only
proxy server principal name: msstd:externalfixedip
on slow networks connect using http first
basic authentication

I have installed the server certificate to the local client

Just does not connect. Will work fine over VPN.
Help would be most appreciated.

>Microsoft Exchange Settings: domain.local<

Does this really read "Microsoft Exchange Server: " , if so then you are supposed to put .domain.local

That is actually what I meant. I could have swore I put that .domain.local. Must have been a long day. Have you got it working yet. What are you using for a login ID. It should be \username

This is usually a Certificate issue or sometimes a set up issues. Is this Vista or XP? How did you install the Cert? Where did you install the cert. Can you OWA into your server?

Are there any other Profiles on this system? Sometimes other pfoiles can gum up the works.
