I will soon be assisting in the setup of SBS2003 Standard for a small construction company.
They have a very flaky DSL Internet connection and may decide to have their mail hosted by an ISP.
I believe that would mean using the POP3 connector in SBS to download mail from the ISP to the server.
Will they still be able to set up Exchange Activesync and retrieve mail, contacts, tasks and calendar using Windows Mobile-based smartphones, and if so, would they just point to the static IP or FQDN of the SBS in order to set this up on the phones? Or, does the POP3 connector prevent or complicate the capability for push e-mail to smart phones?
