hi marina,

yes am still having issues, but what i tried to do is subscribe to other isp for the smtp relay since i could not send out mail from my old isp..

but when i use the smtp address my old isp gave me in my outlook it has no problem..

it is only when i use the smtp address to my sbs it cannot send out mails.. fyi, i have been using my old isp for quite a long time already on my sbs then all of a sudden i just could not send mails using my old isp.

now using the new smtp of my new isp it has no problem..

what could be the problem with my old isp?

Has your old ISP made any changes recently, maybe to IP addresses or DNS?

hi,

i tried calling my isp but seems the answer of the customer service rep was the settings are still the same, (smtp.myisp.com)

maybe the customer rep does not know about it. is there a way to troubleshoot it where the problem lies?

Hi Erd,

You should only use the mailservers of your current ISP as the smarthost. If that doesn't work, the NDR should give you clues about why the mail can't be send out and you should contact your ISP about that. Another option is to use a Dynamic DNS service for outgoing email, but that probably will have some limitations.
