Hi,

First I'm lucky to be able to get here... ISA 2004 on SBS pre is blocking most of the sites. sites like gogle, smallbizserver, my ext ISP mail server are working but almost everything else not! (It can;t be the microsoft.com is down all the time). I've attached a print screen so you can see the error in the ISA log. What I do get on the browser is:
Page cannot be displayed...
Technical Information (for support personnel)
Error Code 10060: Connection timeout
BackgroundL The gateway could not receieve a timely response from the website you are trying to access. This might indicate that the network is congested, or that the website is experiencing a technical difficulties.

I didn't change anything! When I access my router I can ping out of it and everything is working fine - I've checked the interfaces and they are all working ok.

Any ideas?

Hi Oren,

Please, post an ipconfig /all from the server and a workstation. Open a command prompt by opening Start -> Run from the Start Menu and type cmd. From the command prompt type ipconfig /all >ip.txt. Attach this file to your answer. Is SP2 for ISA 2004 installed? Is the Firewall Client installed on the workstations? Which router do you have?

Well I managed to solve this.

It is very funny tough...
I have a Cisco 827 router and I started thinking I have aproblem with it...
So I connected to the console and to my amazment the same thin happens from the router to the ouside!
So I changed the router and the same thing with a different one!
So I changed the user I get from my ISP and... It's running!
I don't know why and I don't know what is wrong but I double checked it and the problem is that somehow that spesific user is blocked from certain sites!

So thank you for your support

Regards

Oren
