For a banking software (ING Telelink online with Isabel) I need to open port 443 (SSL) for several IP Adresses.

When I do this I'm still unable to connect
(I test this in a command box:
telnet 195.35.64.129 443)

According to the bankingsoftware support people I need a reply when I do this test, but I get no connection

Can anyone help me?

Thnaks in advance

Strange...  When I do a telnet 195.35.64.129 443 on a different server (same setup, SBS2003 with ISA2004) I do get connected...

Only difference is that the server where the telnet is NOT working is a SBS2003 R2 version...

Anyone suggestions?

What does ISA live logging tell you?

Do you try this from the server or a workstation and if from a workstation does that workstation has the Firewall client installed?

I tried this both on the server and on a workstation, same result!

I also tried this direct on the ISP router, to check if the router allowed me to do this, no problem with the router.

So my tought is that there's something wrong with the SBS box :s

Hi Geert,

Can you telnet to another https site on port 443 at all from the SBS? What servicepacks for SBS and ISA are installed? Do you have a clean ISA install or was this an upgrade from 2000? Do you have any manually configured rules in ISA?
Please, post an ipconfig /all from the server and a workstation. Open a command prompt by opening Start -> Run from the Start Menu and type cmd. From the command prompt type ipconfig /all >ip.txt. Attach this file to your answer.
