I've had a number of problems with ISA server and am quickly becoming fed up with the difficulties it causes. I must be doing something wrong as I can't believe it's all that bad!
Anyway, we've had a situation where the ISA server went into lockdown...I was called in after the ISA server had been uninstalled from the SBS box. Now the box is working fine. When I reinstall ISA server it seemed to work ok for a while and then the management console began to crash when trying to change rules. I tried to install SP3 for ISA Server 2004 (from Windows update) and the whole thing locked down again, with the firewall service failing to startup.
Anyway got any tips for how I should go about getting ISA back on this box? Ideally I would like to clear down all the rules and start from scratch again. I believe the uninstall will have done this? What order should I proceed to install ISA server and the Service Packs?
Any assistance gratefully listened to!
Thanks,
Kris
