I can download ok through Internet Explorer but if I try to download using something like Akami Download Manager the ISA 2004 Server denies the connection.  It says the following:

Denied Connection:
Log type: Web Proxy (Forward)
Status: 12209 The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request.  Access to the Web Proxy service is denied.
Rule: SBS Internet Access Rule
Source: Internal (192.168.1.110:0)
Destination: External (192.168.1.1:8080)
Request: HEAD HTTP://...
Filter Information: Req ID: 155ba05e
Protocol: http
User: anonymous

How do I avoid this denied connection problem?

Hi
One option is to change the SBS Internet Access rule to all users

Cheers

Well I don't want to give all users' access just so download managers will work. I'm wondering if there is a better way to do this and not have to grant such open access. Is there any other option more specific to the problem?

I tried to add 'All Users' anyway and it still did not work.

Is the ISA Client installed on the workstation in question?
