Hello all,
Situation is an SBS23003 with ISA2004.
An SBS WS runs an application that needs to synchronize with a Webserver on the Internet. The transfer module communicates over port 80. Hence it does not work because Internet access through the proxy server works over port 8080.
Is there a way to let this application use port 80 anyway?
The WS do not use the firewall client.

Thanks in advance Paul

Why are you not using the firewall client? Whenever one of my firewall clients gets turned off or disabled everything on that client seems locked out of internet access.

Thanks for your reaction Stuart.
The Firewall client turned out to be the solution.
The program in question does not use the IE settings and therefore does not act as a proxy client.
So by installing the Firewall client on the WS the program will be able to access Intenet through the Firewall client. It took me a few hours reading Dr Shinders ISA 2004 book to figure it out.
