We recently moved our SBS 2003 box to a new location and decided on a hardware based firewall.  I uninstalled ISA2004 but find the SQL MSDE instance for FWSC is still on the box.  When I go into add/remove there is no option to unistall it (the other SQL instances can be unistalled).

Any idea how to remove this?

Hate to tell you this but you need to be really careful here. This happened to me and I srcewed around with, trying to uninstall it and then trying to delete files and got into a real pickle. Everything eventually went rapidly downhill. It got to a state where MSDE would not uninstalll and it would not reinstall, so I could not even reinstall ISA to get to where I could uninstall the MSDE first. And then other systems started to be affects and my event logs were chock full of errors on boot up. I ended up throwing my hands up having to do a complete reinstall. If I found myself in this situation again I would make sure I found a GUARANTEED method of doing a CLEAN uninstall, either with advise from someone like the M&Ms or Eriq, maybe even paid, or even some paid advice from Microsoft. And if research and expert help did not point up a guaranteed method to do this, I would probably consider doing a restore from a recent backup back to a state before the ISA uninstall, then doing an uninstall of the MSDE first. Good luck.
