Hi Marlene,
I've many times readed and really apprciated you Articles about Blackberry Enterprise Server.
(I've sent many post too)
I've reistalled all my BlackBerry suite many times, restarting everything. Now my scenario is:
- 1 Server SBS2003/ISA2004 (Not R2 but all patched)
- 1 Server Win2003R2 (Patched) with Directory replication.
All works fine.
I installed BSE on WIN2003 (executing all as you suggested) and I've installed "Messaging API and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1"
I changed BSE Ports.
I restarted server without any errors in Event Wiever.
I connected BSE socket with my BlackBerry 8310 Curve by USB on my BSE Server.
I've used BlackBerry Enterprise Server Management Console.
I sent any data to my BB8310 (Including incoming real-time e-mail)
All works fine.
But I disconnected BB8310 and everything stopped. The error, on BSE/User console, was:
Messages Fowarded: 4
Messages Sended: 0
Messages Filtered: 0
Last result: Forwarding not executed.

So I don't know where and what I can gonna looking for the error(s).
I'm not able to understand if this problem concernes phone, socket, provider or deeply BSE or Exchange or ISA.

So:
On BES/Server's Event Viewer I've not find anything.
On SBS/ISA server I've created a monitoring Rule for BES and I've seen that, every 15 minutes:
[There is a connection about BSE:
Log type: Firewall Settings
Status: Operation Completed
Rule: BlackBerry Enterprise Server
Source: Internal (192.168.1.5:3813) [That is my BSEServer IP]
Destination: External (193.109.81.33:3101)
Protocol: BlackBerry Server
User: [EMPTY]
Additional Information:
Number of Bytes sent: 1271693 Number of Bytes received: 444361
Processing Time: 472499969ms Original Client IP 192.168.1.5
Client Agent: [EMPTY]]

So I feel that ISA works but I don't know where is the problem.....

Marriette, what can I do, in your opinion?

Thanks

Stefano

Did you create the ISA publishing rule? My articles subject is about an installation of BES on your SBS, not on a member server.
