I'm migrating from a workgroup network to a domain network, so i installed SBS2003 R2 Premium (i´m a total newbie with this SBS stuff) after that i went to one of the user stations (a pc) and try to ping the server, and i was all good, i haven´t tried to login to the server at this point, then i installed ISA Server 2004 and set the firewall to Edge Firewall, with everything at default settings, now when i try to ping the server from a user station i get "connection timeout".

Now that i want log in to the server from the user stations I can´t, and i haven´t tried to log in before so no user settings are on the server, just the account.  How do i fix this?

haven´t installed SP2 yet

okey so basically i´m on the user stations, open the internet browser, type in my server IP and the Welcome page
"Welcome the SBS 2003 Page, to get started click a link"

there are four links, i click on "Network Configuration Wizard" to connect the user pcs to the server and i get a timeout connection, so no connection possible, that is my problem

Hi Leslie,

You will need to run the Connect to the Internet wizard from the To Do list. That will configure ISA for you. On the clients you will need to install the ISA Firewall Client, which can be done automagicallyl if you have followed the instructions in the Premiuminstallsteps.htm on the PT cd.
Please, post an ipconfig /all from the server and a workstation. Open a command prompt by opening Start -> Run from the Start Menu and type cmd. From the command prompt type ipconfig /all >ip.txt. Attach this file to your answer.

yes, but i reckon that the clients must have access to the server first, because the ISA client is located in the server, or how do i install it?
correct me if i´m mistaken here please

Hi Leslie,

Did you run the Add user wizard and add computer wizard and join the workstations with servername/connectcomputer?
