Hello all this is my 1st post here I am hoping someone can help.

I have just installed a SBS2003 Box at a customers site, with SBS 2004 SP3. Everything has gone ok apart from a web browsing issue I am having. For some reason from both the SBS Server and from CLient PC inside the network when browsing web pages with Javascript functions on them I get an error on page alert in the bottom left hand corner, and no javasript functions disply or work correctly.

While viewing the logging function and attempting to connect to www.microsoft.com, on the ISA Management console I noticed this error

Failed Connection Attempt

This error just points to the .js function on the page.
This error happens for any page with javascript on, actually connecting to the page works as you can see below.

Hi Dean,

have you already a found a solution?

I have a simalary problem.

I get always connection timed out, for certain get request (java script with no extention (.js)) of a particualar site.
Accessing the main site of the get request is possible, also downloading the java script from an other computer (not in the office environment) is possible.

I have also checked and compared all the IE properties with these 2 Computers, no hint why this happen.

Hope someone can help us

best regards

Martin

OK in the end the issue I was having was not actually with the ISA setup, the Linksys ADSL router I was using had a built in firewall feature, now although this was disabled you had to manually disable the block javascript etc options, as these still ran.

Not sure if this will help you at all.
