Sorry to post into this forum as it is for Exchange 5.5.
I will be moving to Exchange 2007 very soon so i would like to know some things about Exmerge for 5.5. What i want to do is only export some mailboxes into PST files. I do not want to import them to a new Exchange 2007 server. Can this be done because I need only backups as Exmerge articles say it is a two-step process, but i do not want to do the second process to import to a target server. Can this be done and any good sites to see how Exmerge? Thanks.

We are in the process of using Exmerge Version 3 on a Windows NT4 server with Exchange 5.5 on it.  This version of Exmerge will allow export to PST for later importing to the destination server.  What we have found is that it deletes the items from the mailbox as it copies to the pst.  Thankfully nothing went wrong.
 
Can't find documentation on verson 3 any where yet so not sure if this is the correct behaviour or a switch i've accidently used.
