I am working with vista enterprise and IE 7.
I am trying to connect to a remote server via https://sbs.domain.com/remote.
I am able to connect, and also imported the cert to avoid issues.
I can get to the screen where I can see the client pc's, but when I click on 'connect' I don't get the RDP window, I only get a timeout error saying that a connection isn't possible.
It must be smth with my client machine because with a windows XP machine with IE6 from my colleague I can connect to the remote location ... . Any idea's on this issue?

Did you try running the IE7 "as administrator", by right clicking on the icon in the quick launch bar and selecting "run as admin"?

Perhaps the active x bits are disabled

found out the issue wasn't vista related in fact it was our firewall which blocked some outside permissions for me.
