My boss has just got a new laptop with vista. Whats the best way to add it to the domain? It needs to be setup in a way in can also be used both on the network and away from the office not on the network.

I have never used Vista before so I dont want to starting doing things to just try work it out by myself.

I have managed to put the vista client onto the network and can logon to both the local computer and the domain. Now I just need to workout how to have an icon at the welcome screen for both local computer and domain.

Treat it the same as you would a Win2K Pro or WinXP Pro laptop.  Just..join the domain, reboot a couple of times while connected to the office network..it'll pull over the credentials which will allow for logins while away from the office LAN.  When away from the LAN...just keep logging into the "domain" like you were at the office.
