Hei Y'll
I'm using a VBS logon script trough a policy. I put the script in a user policy objekt that's link'd to sbsusers OU.
As say'd this is a VBS script that maps drive's welcome's the user sets printers and a default printer.
This works perfect if i logon on a XPpro machine but on a Vista Business box i only see the welcome message nothing get's mapped. I checked and there's no user filter or WMI filter. Used gpupdate in booth end's to no use. Checked with GPresult on the Vista box and see that the policy is run.
I checked running the VBS script direct on the vista box and that worked.
I'm kind of lost does any body have an ideer please.

Hi Rene

Did you run the updates to allow Vista to connect to SBS?  Running the updates allows you to map to vista's my docs to a shared folder on the sbs box.

You need to update your sbs box to support vista and office 2007, look at the microsoft site for information relating to this.

Remember to backup!

Hi I used a lot off time onn this and there are basicly to solutions to this problem of Vista ekstra security.
The først one is compolicated and needs to script's with som branching in the script (I tried but gave up) the second one ii simple you disable UAC on all your Vista klient's (yes som adidas nettworking) but it works and is simple.

I had this same issue recently, and after much frustation I found adding the login script as an IE trusted site made it all good and perfect. (does your script run in an HTML window at all?) I'd really prefer not to disable UAC as it is one of Vista's greatest benefits.

Cheers,
Matt
