Hello everyone,

I am new to this site/forum and was very much hoping that someone could help me with an SBS 2003 SP1 installation problem that I am having.
The first 4 steps of the installation all went OK. During the 5th and last step (KB885918 SBS 2003 SP1 itself) I get an error message saying that a problem has occured and that I shoudl review the logs.

I can´t see anything in the indicated log and have attached three log files to this post for further analysis.

The most strange thing that happens is that after the error message I can not do anything else on our server. For example if it try to restart as advised I get a message that I do not have sufficient permissions to restart the system. I get this when logged in as a domain admin. I can restart the server using a remote command and both before the error and after a restart I can work again as admin. with no problems.

Any help or advise would be very much appreciated....!

I have already tried the following things (from other forums etc):
- Installation from .exe file and installation from extracted files directly.
- Installation by dubble clicking .exe and via Control Panel\Add or Remove Programs.
- Installation directly after a restart.
- Installation via RDP and on local console.
- Installation without GPMC and with GPMC installation during install.
- Installation after downloading a new .exe file.
- Installation from files on local disk, CD and USB key.

Yes, only in our case that is the "beheerder" account (the central OS´s are installed in Dutch).
