Hi, just trying to install SP1 but seem to have a problem. It seems completes ok up till the "clean up" stage then disappears of the screen (after about 20mins). No err msgs are displayed neither any dialog box to say its completed ok and to reboot. There are no errors in errorlog.txt\eventlog.txt. Looking in the application event log there is a drwatson error with update.exe but I cant find a log file. Any suggestions ?

Thats the guide I've been following. I have also read all the release notes etc for both w2k3, exchange etc etc. Hardware is a Dell SC1420 (non raid... yeah I know, I didnt do it). Openmanage is NOT istalled, server is basically used for file sharing, sql and exchange, not much else. I've been doing some research (early days yet) and some people seem to think its due to the large number of updates etc already installled\possibly theres an updated update.exe from microsoft available? If I find anything out Ill post the results.
