Current Network: SBS2003 with SQL,exchange,ISA and vertias 10.  Ultrium Tape drive.

I am trying to determine the best solution for a offsite type of backup.

Currently we backup full everynight and we have monthly backups that leave the office permently.

Currently if there was fire we would lose more the closer to the end of month.

I have been looking at the offsite (livevault...etc) and with the amount of data (+- 300gig) it would cost the cost of a autoloading/ large tape size and a lot more tapes for more offsite transfer of tapes.

What the most used solution for smaller companies...(20-30 emp).  Does a autoloader seem like a good solution?

Thanks.

In addition this autoloaders don't work with SBS Backup.
