i have purchased a license for 10 users for a client for a backup solution.

Currently they are using a NAS as the primary storage for all files.
They have the equivelent in a removable drive for taking a mirror of that drive which they want to do on a daily basis.

I bought ARC serve as a thought that SBS backup only done backups locally on the internal server and not network dirves.
basically on each desktop they are using pop3 connector so the PST file from each computer needs to sit there.
I tried running it accross the network and it ws sooo slow.

I installed ARC serve and follwed the wizards but i am unsure really how to properly configuire it.
I am usuming that it is a client server software but i really have not had a good look at it yet.
As samuel jackson says "when you make an assumption you make an a*s out of you and umption"
So i turn to my fellow humans to help me out :) grovle grovle.

Does any users have some good how tos or examples of their set up so i can learn from that?

many kind thanks in advance.

SBS Backup can backup to shares just fine. I have no idea about Arcserve...

I know it can back up to shares just fine but how about from shares???

The NAS is like another server sharing directories, i want to copy that each night to a removable drive.
