Backups have been failing for some time (for which I have another thread, still ongoing) but now it's just got really serious...

The Microsoft Exchange MTA Stacks service won't start, although I'm not sure that's too serious, but I have found the following event logs which seem to be;

I'm not sure whether this is a standard set up (as I'm not an Exchange admin) but everything exchange seems to point to the M: partition which now appears to be empty (I'm sure it never used to be).

I'm utterly and completely stuck and urgently need help with this - my neck is well and truly on the line!

RESOLVED

The Exchange Stores were failing to mount due to insufficient disk space! Not one error mentioned disk space, I can't believe it.

Anyway - moved some data and hey presto, the stores mounted without error, all is now well.

I must get back to that other thread regarding backups - then once that's done, learn how to upgrade this puppy!
